Study information autumn term 2017
Welcome to study with us! You can find important information regarding your studies at our department here. The autumn term 2017 starts 28 August and ends 14 January 2018.
For the first admission round ( information for applications to second admission round - please see below) you will around 24 March receive a notification from universityadmissions.se regarding your admission. It is vital that you reply in time to keep the ranking, the same applies to both admissions and waiting lists. You reply to universityadmissions.se – not to the department, by 12 April at the latest. In order to keep your place you've been offered in the first admission round you must reply by this date. Students on waiting list will receive another notification from universityadmissions.se 21 April. No reply to universityadmissions.se is necessary for this notification. Note! Here you find more information if you're required to pay an application fee and tuition fees for studies in Sweden.
For the second admission round you will around 13 July receive a notification from universityadmissions.se regarding your admission. It is important that you reply in time to keep the ranking, the same applies to both admissions and waiting lists. You reply to universityadmissions.se - not to the department by 28 July at the latest. In order to keep your place you've been offered in the second admission round you must reply by this date. Students on waiting list will receive another notification from universityadmissions.se 3 August. No reply to universityadmissions.se is necessary for this notification.
Before you can start your studies you need to register. Most students will be able to register on-line through the web service My studies 10 August - 21 August. To log in, first activate your university account at www.su.se/aktivera
In case of problems with this, you are welcome to get assistance at our Student affairs office in room B980 during the following hours:
Monday 21 August 9 – 12 a.m.
It is important that you register online on time, otherwise you will lose your place!
The on-line registration opens 10 August and remains open until 21 August.
You can find us at Universitetsvägen 10B, floor 8 and 9 in one of the "blue houses" called "södra huset" (the south house) in entrance B. Map: Campus area

Applications for courses and/or programmes at the first or second level are made through the national webb site universityadmissions.se, also late applications.
Mondo is a tool for communication between students and teachers.
Use your university account to log in. Mondo is Stockholm University's common collaboration and learning environment where you communicate with teachers and fellow students, collect and submit course assignments, receive links and course information and messages. The tag for your course is either in the upper line or can be found under ’My active sites’.
All student emails need to be re-directed to your ordinary email account in order not to miss important information sent through Mondo. Use ’Kontohantering’ to re-direct.
