Despite improvements in life expectancy, inequalities between regions in Finland and Sweden remain

Life expectancy has improved substantially in Finland and Sweden, but inequalities in life expectancy between regions have remained almost unchanged.

Open Position: PhD studentship in Sociological demography

The position is funded by a recently awarded Starting Grant from the European Research Council. Funding is available for four years, full-time, in addition to the costs of attending conferences and seminars, as well as advanced training in research methods.

All teaching and examination will be online via Zoom until January 17th 2021
