Elizabeth Thomson and Martin Kolk awarded EAPS Awards

We are very happy and proud to announce that the 2020 EAPS Award for Population Studies has been awarded to Elizabeth Thomson, and the EAPS 2020 Trailblazer award for demographic analysis has been awarded to Martin Kolk.

Risk of dying from COVID-19 in Sweden is greater for men and the unmarried

Being a man, having a lower income, having a lower level of education, not being married, and being born abroad in low- or middle-income countries – these are factors that, independent of one another, are related to an elevated risk of dying from COVID-19.

All teaching and examination will be online via Zoom until January 17th 2021
