Our alumna Maria Hornung studied our Master's Programme in Demography and is now enrolled as a PhD student at the Humboldt University of Berlin.

Hélio Manhica.

"Thanks to the Master's Programme in Demography, I do what I do as a researcher"

Hélio Manhica graduated from our Master's Programme in Demography in 2009, and is now a postdoctoral fellow in social epidemiology at Karolinska Institutet.

Jeylan Erman

Our alumna Jeylan Erman is now in her final year of her PhD in Sociology and Demography at the University of Pennsylvania.

Our alumnus Marcus Immonen Hagley is now a second year PhD researcher at the European University Institute.

"The Master's Programme in Demography was a foundation for further professional development"

Maxim Kan took his master's degree at the Stockholm University Demography Unit, SUDA, in 2012, and is now enrolled as a PhD-student with us. He has also worked several years as a regional research manager at a non-profit organization in Central Asia.

Our alumna My Järnefelt studied our two-year Multidisciplinary Master’s Programme in Demography, and is now working as an analyst and forecaster at the Swedish Social Insurance Agency.

Oskar Adenfelt studied our Multidisciplinary Master's Programme in Demography, and is now working as the acting program director of migration and integration at the green and liberal think tank FORES.

Matilda Rehn

"The Master's Programme in Demography gave me the tools to find data, analyze and draw conclusions"

Matilda Rehn is a spatial planner and a demographer working as a regional planner at Region Stockholm. Our Master's Programme in Demography gave her the base knowledge needed about various aspects of the demographic development both in Sweden, Europe and the rest of the world.

Ignacio Carrasco studied our two-year Multidisciplinary Master's Programme in Demography. He is now enrolled in a PhD programme at Pompeu Fabra University, after having worked at the UN-ECLAC in Chile for several years.

Nicholas Adjei is a young researcher with a research focus on population ageing and health inequalities. His educational background in Demography at SUDA paved the way for him and helped him form his research interest.
